It's not easy being a Hansen boy. You have a lot of expectations awaiting you before even making your entrance. Example #1: attendance of a Dodgers game at an age younger that your older brother. You can imagine the pressure Deeter has felt- Dallin B made it to a game at 2 weeks and 5 days. Porter beat him out at 2 weeks and 3 days. Little Deeter Bug has been fighting jaundice which restricted his outings as he waited under the lights. But after paying his dues under the lights, along with some all-natural basking-

he was prepared to leave the house for a long period of time. And really I don't know why he was rushing himself as he still had 4 days to spare. But at 1 week and 6 days, he made it to his first ball game. And, as you see eyeballs, he actually stayed awake for some of it.

We all loved hanging out with him.

That being said, if we choose to have another child, the precedent has been set. That means a lot of things have to work in our favor in order to have the tradition continue. For instance this next child really would need to be born between May and August to ensure a good amount of accessible games. April or September would be pushing it. Porter was lucky that there was a play off game to go to. Otherwise he would've been out of luck. Then we need our baby to be super healthy at birth to be able to go out almost immediately. I mean, we might have to catch a game on the way home from the hospital. And assuming all that comes together, it will have beat the record and we'll be absolutely resigned to ending our family there. Too much pressure for the next one.

These last couple weeks have been filled with many precious moments. Here's one of them!
