I had this idea for my birthday. But as it is with birthdays, they never come quick enough. Well.... at least the birthday gifts never come quick enough and that's what I was focused on!
But something else did come quicker that I was all, "Wait, I don't have to wait til my birthday, I can do this now." I'm running a half-marathon this Saturday. With 100's of miles of training, I deserve a new workout outfit, right? Obvi. Or....I could wear on oldie and give one of YOU a new outfit which I've been dying to do- that was my birthday wish! So I'm more than ecstatic to announce {a gift from me to you but really from you to me because I'm that excited to give it}.....
Simply because I love this blog. And I love Lululemon. And I love "Intuitive Eating." And when you love, you give! And I'm hoping that you all like these three things also- OR....are open to learning to like!

And inspiring to me, as a soon to be graduate I think what am i going to do with my degree?? I just want to be a mom, what does that have anything to do with exercise science? Your blog inspires me because here you are busy with 4 kids, and you use your degree doing something you love! I hope I find that balance someday. I could use some great workout clothes, wearing mine everyday in my fitness classes they are getting nasty! Hopefully this book teaches Alex and I some good eating habits. Do you know how hard it is to get a Hansen to eat healthy?? Next to impossible.

ReplyDeleteGlad I found your blog...I saw Kady's link on Facebook. I love Lulu too...even though I'm 6 months pregnant, there is nothing like getting some spensy active wear. As for Intuitive Eating--that is a great book...kind of a no brainer right? It's interesting that our society is so insanely fast paced and completely out of touch with our bodies that we need to read books that basically say, "stop eating when you feel full," and "listen to your body, not your addictive brain." Its enlightening though. I'm working with a few clients now (I've been in a Health counseling program for the last 6 months) and it's amazing how important this concept is for my clients ( as well as myself).
