High Maintenance FAILS

I'm sitting in bed looking at my paint chip nails. And do you know my number one question I have for myself??? Why do I EVER stray away from my basically clear with a teeny shade of pink?

I'm completely irresponsible and incapable of keeping up with anything high maintenance. And, doubt not, painted nails are high maintenance. Maybe its the fact that I'm still traumatized by nail salons.  Because of that one time.... Wait, wait, wait,  did you know nail salons aren't the best place to get a bikini wax? Huh uh! Me neither, but now I do.   I'm sharing that little piece of knowledge so now you do, too. You're welcome. And you didn't even have to learn the hard painful way. {feel free to read the whole story here} 
I've been learning all kinds of things in the "beauty" department this year. I also learned that Thai massages hurt like a mother and are far from relaxing. And the kicker? That sometimes you get called the lazy at the end. What's up with that?
But who we are kidding, back to reality, I really just need to get my booty up out of bed and get on with it because ain't no kind of maintenance-  high or low- taking place today.  No massages, waxes, mani/pedi's. Sticking to the glamorous day job of taking care of the four cutest kids on earth. I know, I know, I'm still in shock that I got THE cutest, says every tainted mom out there. Some lucky roll of the dice or something.

And if my day job gets to be too much, I'll just dream about yesterday's work day. Where I found myself on top of Los Angeles... with no kids.

Whatever, it was still totally a work day. With just an extra long lunch hour.

And I'm out!
